All sexually active women and men should be screened before any sexual activity for STD’s as well as HIV. A chlamydia test should also be done along with this screening regardless of social hierarchy, age or race.
Every two to three years should be done along with a Pap Smear starting at age 30. It helps to identify women with a high risk of cervical cancer.
Should be done every 1 to 2 years starting at age 40 to identify possible early signs of breast cancer. Exams should be done at home in the interim as well.
General Physical Examination
Every 2 to 3 years to screen for diseases and assess your risk for future diseases, keep vaccinations up to date and imperative to also discuss lifestyle habits with your healthcare provider.
