Nothing like a healthy Smoothie to have a good start to a fresh new week, its quick easy to make and oat bran has so many health advantages so dig in (just not too much remember its supposed to be for 3) 😉 !  Add a hand full of almonds for an instant energizer.  Try adding other fruits that are in season or a scoop of protein if you have just come from gym. If you have oats regularly for breakfast this is also a nice alternative.  I also like adding some ice to give it a bit of a chilled milkshake-frappe-vibe.  Also nice if you freeze the fruit the night before

with a twist
A delicious drink that is refreshing and good for you.
(3 servings)


2 cups fresh strawberries
1 ripe banana
3 cups unsweetened apple
juice, chilled
1 cup plain low-fat yoghurt
1/2 cup Jungle Oat Bran
Using a blender, combine all ingredients and blend for 1 minute or until smooth.
